Jazan – Feb 2021 – The electronic health record Vida was launched in Ahed Al- Masarha General Hospital in Jazan region, the hospital was established in 1426h. in February 2021, Ahed Al- Masarha transformed into a digital hospital, paperless environment in all of the hospital's departments and specialized clinics including the hypnosis department which has 50 beds.

This transformation comes to be aligned with 2030 Vision, this transformation aims to digitalize the whole hospital and all paper transactions to have a smart integrated environment and to develop medical services utilizing the latest technologies. The electronic health record is a cloud system that serves the health care workers in order to have a smooth approach of providing health services to the patients by having an electronic health care record for each individual. It also contributes to preventing medical errors and drug-to-drug interactions and it saves time, also to improves the quality of health care. Digitalizing healthcare services has helped in supporting daily procedures to be more flexible in order to save it and exchange it.

The great development we are witnessing in technologies and machines will help leading to shortening time, increasing efficiency, reducing cost, and achieving greater flexibility in the production process. Digital transformation is the beginning of growth in our time, by providing innovative services using modern technologies and the simplification of procedures in the services provided to beneficiaries.

The system was launched under the patronage of the Ministry of Health, and by the supervision of Cloud Solutions team, the hospital director, Mr. Mohamed Sufhi, the project manager, Mr. Yahya Dagheriri, and the medical director, Mr. Hamdi Ashry.
